Pathfinder Associates Inc.
was founded twenty-six years ago by Ronald E. Hauxwell. He concurrently
spent nine years as Program Director for Grand Valley State University's
Occupational Safety and Health Bachelors Degree program, teaching
courses in Safety Law, Environmental Law, Industrial Hygiene,
Chemical Hazards, and a variety of other topics. Prior to that,
he spent eleven years in the chemical industry in a variety of
management positions with responsibility for production, safety,
waste disposal, and environmental protection.
Hauxwell
was also an OSHA certified "Voluntary Compliance Instructor
for Safety and Health" for twelve years.
He is the author of six books
titled, the Bloodborne Pathogens Compliance Sourcebook, the Laboratory
Safety and Right to Know Compliance Sourcebook, the Right to
Know Compliance Guidebook, the Right to Know Compliance Sourcebook,
the SARA Title III Compliance Guidebook, and the SARA Title III
Compliance Sourcebook. Hauxwell is the author of five commercial
audiovisual training programs titled Safe Chemical Handling,
Chemical Safety, Hazardous Materials Labeling, RCRA - Hazardous
Waste Training and RCRA - Incident Response.
Hauxwell has conducted more
than 3,000 seminars and in-house employee training sessions covering
Tuberculosis Compliance, Bloodborne Pathogens, Laboratory Safety,
Right to Know, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response,
the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and other topics.
