HazCom Written Program
If you're looking for an
easy way to put together the written "Hazard Communication
Program" required by OSHA under 29 CFR 1910.1200, we have
the answer. We're now making available to all of our clients,
at a nominal cost, the same written "Hazard Communication
Program" we developed for our consulting clients around
the country.
This "boilerplate"
written HCP has been successfully used for years by our consulting
clients and has passed hundreds of OSHA inspections around the
country.
All you have to do is fill
in the blanks, using your word processing equipment, with the
names of the appropriate individuals at work and print out a
copy. Remember however, that your written plan must be fully
implemented. That means you must be doing things as they are
described in your HCP.
Both the Michigan and federal
versions of the HCP are provided on each disk in Microsoft Word®,
ASCII Text, and Word Perfect® formats, for easy import into
your word processing program. (Available only on 3.5 inch HD
IBM format discs.) A fully functional "Michigan" version
of the HCP, and hard copies of the required Michigan posters,
is also available for our Michigan clients.
